1. Explain it simply
The 把 sentence is Subject + 把 + object + verb + result.
The verb cannot stand alone; it needs a result like 完, 上, 走, or 在 + place.
Use it when the action handles or changes the object: 把作业写完了, 把门关上。

我把作业写完了。
Wǒ bǎ zuòyè xiěwán le.
I finished the homework.
把 + object + verb + 完
请把书放在桌子上。
Qǐng bǎ shū fàng zài zhuōzi shàng.

3. Share a tip
把 needs a result after the verb. A bare verb like 我把书看 is wrong; say 我把书看完了。
