Does HSK 3 Have a Speaking Test?

Sort of - and it is new. The written HSK 3 paper covers listening, reading, and writing, with no spoken section inside it. But under the HSK 3.0 standard, registering for HSK 3 or above now requires you to sign up for the separate HSK Speaking test at the same time. It is short - about 15 minutes, 15 questions in three parts - so at Level 3 speaking finally counts.

That puts saying the words out loud at the center of real HSK 3 prep, not off to the side. The phrases and dialogs above let you rehearse the roughly 500 new Level 3 words in full sentences - drilling pronunciation, tone, and rhythm until they are automatic - while sharpening the listening and reading the written paper tests too.
