1. Explain it simply
得 links a verb to an adjective that says HOW WELL the action is done.
The order is fixed: Verb + 得 + adjective, like 说得很好 or 跑得很快.
The adjective usually takes 很: 他写得很慢。
Never drop 得 and never move it before the verb or to the end.

3. Share a tip
得 always sits between the verb and the adjective (V + 得 + adj); if you drop 得 or move it, the sentence is wrong.
