1. Explain it simply
越 A 越 B means 'the more A, the more B' - two things rise together.
Put 越 before each part: Subject + 越 + A + 越 + B.
A can be a verb or adjective; B is an adjective for the result.
Both 越 are needed; don't drop one or move it to the end.

我越忙越累。
Wǒ yuè máng yuè lèi.
The busier I am, the more tired I get.
