More and More (越来越…)

1. Explain it simply

越来越 + adjective means something is changing more and more.

Put it right before the adjective: Subject + 越来越 + adjective.

Often add 了 at the end to mark the change: 天气越来越冷了。

Keep 越来越 together; don't split it or move the subject after it.

2. Show examples

天气越来越冷了。

Tiānqì yuèláiyuè lěng le.

The weather is getting colder and colder.

他越来越忙。

Tā yuèláiyuè máng.

He is busier and busier.

越来越 + adj

我越来越喜欢中文。

Wǒ yuèláiyuè xǐhuan Zhōngwén.

I like Chinese more and more.

3. Share a tip

Keep 越来越 together and right before the adjective, and add 了 to stress the change.
